Archaeological investigations are now underway, exploring High Bourn’s rich past. Early findings are expected to include evidence from the Iron Age through to Roman, medieval and post-medieval farming, alongside surviving features of the WW2 airfield.
On Sunday 7th June 2026, we held an open day marking the culmination of months of work by the project team including archaeological surveys, excavation, design development and analysis carried out by planners, landscape architects, engineers and archaeologists.
